For those of you who may like to either download or play the recordings of my piano arrangements without needing to download each individual song, there are now links to playlists for each level. So, feel free to listen whenever you like!

Music news! A new Spanish page has been added to my website. Some of the choir numbers are already there and ready to go as well as most piano solos. More will be coming throughout the year. Hopefully this will be useful in Spanish-speaking nations. I hope those who need these will find them and you can help by passing the word along to others.
A big thanks to all the music lovers who find and use my "stuff". It's so nice to hear from many of you from all corners of the world. It is really helpful if you will mention which piece/song you are using/mentioning. There's usually no way I can tell without a mention from the writer. This info helps me to know what is most useful and to plan future projects.
Linda Hartman This piano duet has been added to my website. I hope you enjoy it.
This month I have added new recordings of piano accompaniments for several of my choral pieces. These MP3s are in addition to the MP3s which include piano and vocal. I hope you find them useful for rehearsals when an accompanist is not present.
I have made a determined effort to keep this choir song (Come Ye Children) a little easier than my usual.... especially the piano part. My daughters often take me to task for making the piano parts too hard for many wards, and since they both have music degrees, I expect I should listen to them. (at least occasionally!)
If anyone makes/gets a good recording of any of the choir pieces, it would be great if you could send me an MP3 file of it. That way I could replace the electronic recordings now available on this website with something better! Thank you!
The intermediate level piano arrangement of "Angels We Have Heard On High" is now available. I hope you piano lovers will enjoy it.
Any of you that frequent my music site might have noticed that there aren't many dynamic markings in my music. I prefer to leave the interpretations to those of you who use it. Sometimes it seems like more volume and power are called for....and other days I like to play a passage softer, etc. Just take it where you feel it!!!! Thanks for choosing my songs!! Welcome to my music blog, music lovers. It's fun to have a new website now with easier access and capabilities. If you use any of my arrangements, feel free to leave comments as to things that worked well for you, things you liked about it, or things you didn't like about it! (Really!) Generally speaking, the piano accompaniments to my choir arrangements are a lot harder than the vocal lines are. Being a pianist myself, I can't seem to help it. Just tell your accompanist how wonderful he/she is, and give them lots of advance notice to practice it.
I'm currently working on a very simple piano solo arrangement of "O Little Town of Bethlehem" and an intermediate level piano solo of "Angels We Have Heard on High". It will be a while until they are ready for use, but will definitely be available by Christmas. If you ever need my take on which vocal numbers are easier (faster to learn) or any other bits of musical advice, send me a question on the contact page and I'll get back to you quickly. Best of luck in your musical duties and hobbies! Linda Hartman |
