Welcome to Linda Hartman MusicThis is the home for my free LDS sheet music. Visit the sheet music page where you can download my arrangements and compositions free of charge for non-commercial purposes. You can also listen to audio recordings (and some electronic renderings) to help give you an idea of how the pieces sound. All other rights are reserved.
This site includes choral arrangements, vocal and piano solos, and piano duets, most of which are suitable to perform in church. Different levels of piano solos are available so that pianists of varying abilities can find something within their reach. Many of the choir selections are voiced for SAB to make them more accessible for smaller ward choirs. I am delighted to say that the arrangement of “God of Our Fathers” received an “Award of Merit” in the 2012 LDS Church music submissions contest. If you find something you like and use, please pass it on. Music is only of value when someone uses it. I hope those who visit this site will find something they enjoy and use. My entire music collection is also available at freeldssheetmusic.org. |
About LindaLinda Hartman is a recently retired high school choir teacher from Fontana, California, now residing in Smithfield, Utah. She enjoys reading, writing music, baking cookies, quilting, and most of all, playing with her six grandchildren.
She received a Bachelors Degree in Music from BYU and taught music in public schools for many years. She was the music director for 18 musicals and she conducted many choral concerts with students and musicians of all ages. Linda recently completed a project writing the music for a program that teaches the ABC's and beginning phonics to children ages 3-6. She strongly believes that music is one of the most effective tools to teach and learn, and that music provides a friendly, infectious medium to help kids remember academic materials.
